It will cure for a week and installed in a couple of weeks.

Dead River is installing 2 propane tanks for heat and stove.

RG Tombs installed our garage doors. They are passive solar doors.

Bathroom

tiling of vanity. Patricia spent the day tiling the vanity tops. She used a sticky paper to glue the tiles to the top. A new product that seems to work well, and fore that made her life easier.

Patricia a passé la journée á carreler les dessus des meubles de salle de bain. Elle a collé les carreaux avec un papier adhesif, un nouveau produit qui a l'air de bien marcher et en tout cas, á faciliter la pose.

A few days ago, we had little helpers visiting us on the job site. Thank you Loic pour le chocalat. Il y a quelques semaines, nous avons eu des petits visiteurs qui sont venus nous soutenir avec du chocolat...

Man in the mirror

Our bathroom is also getting finished. The mirrors were installed this morning.
Notre salle de bain est presque finie aussi. Les mirroirs sont installes.

Concrete countertop

Scott from StoneCraft is taking measurement today to prepare a template. They will do a mold of the countertop. The countertop will be in concrete. It will take them 2 to 3 weeks to get it installed. Still need to pick the color though. We think we'll go for white concrete.

Scott de StoneCraft prend les mesures et va preparer un modéle pour faire notre comptoir en ciment. Il nous faut encore choisir la couleur. Sûrement un dessus de cuisine en ciment blanc...

We were missing a couple of cabinets (ok, one was missing and the other one, we ordered the wrong size)... We called Ikea. Jennifer was very helpful and prepared the order for us. Monday, we drove to Ikea Boston/Stoughton. And they are now installed. We are meeting with Kevin from StoneCraft on Thursday for a concrete countertop. Interesting...

Il nous manquait 2 meubles de cuisine (un manqué, l'autre, on s'est trompé dans les mesures). Nous avons appelé Ikea et lundi nous sommes allés les chercher. Ils sont dejá montés. Demain jeudi, nous avons rendez-vous avec Kevin de StoneCraft pour prendre les mesures pour le dessus de comptoir en ciment... ça va être interessant.

Ikea kitchen - day 1

Most of the kitchen cabinets are built. Huge progress. Of course we are missing 3 panets and 2 cabinets. Lost in the Ikea stratosphere...
La plupart des meubles sont montes. Mais il nous manque 3 paneaux et 2 meubles. Perdu dans le monde magique de Ikea. Il va falloir les commander.

Tiling now.

Electric dream

CMP finally put the power and now they are coming back to secure the electric pole. We put the power line underground. They are installing an anchor that will go 6ft in the ground and that will support the pole.

Le conduit d'electricité passe sous terre du dernier poteau á la maison. Ils ont installé aujourd'hui un point d'ancrage pour soutenir le poteau.
