The beginning of our house project was also made possible thanks to Jim Hopkinson at Hopkinson Abbondanzza in Portland, ME. He and his team worked on the deed, negotiated a few (very important) points and made the closing smooth and enjoyable. No surprise!
And the financing came from Bath Saving Institution , orchestrated there by Anne-Marie McCoubrey. We had a first financing lined up, all ready to go. A week before, Anne-Marie found us a better way to do it and managed to get the closing done in a week... Their marketing campaign says 'keeping our hometowns strong'. Definitively the case. BSI and Anne-Marie provided us with a financing to buy the land and to do the construction with a very attractive rate.
