Thanksgiving weekend

The crew is working. A lot of rain and wind but the 2nd floor walls will be up tomorrow. Big week coming up with trusses arriving on Tuesday.

Wednesday, pre-Thanksgiving

It doesn't look like things are changing... but it does! The concrete floor has been poured and the second floor is being framed.

Foundation... that's the base!

Emery Pelletier from C&E Earthworks (207-615 1802) in Falmouth, ME worked on the excavation for the garage and organized the concrete work. Excellent work! He is also in charge of the septic system that will be installed in the back.

The design for the septic was done by Brady from Frick & Associates in Gorham, ME. Very clever and very nice to work with him.

Fun and Dust...

And there was a lot of dust... demo is done! Or almost... the structure and roof will be brought down by Dave Dardano and his crew later.
Patricia and I are working on material selection now (kitchen design, doors, hardware, flooring...).
