Meet the team!

A good building project needs a good team. And we think we have it.
The builder / general contractor is David Dardano of Dardano Construction Inc. (207 - 831 2137). We have worked with him in the past and he is not only an exceptional builder but also an outstanding contractor, full of resources and excellent advises. We enjoyed working with him and his crea in the past when he renovated our current old house. The end result was beyond our expectation and the timing was as expected. For a project like this, trust is important and we think Dave is the perfect builder for this one.

The other question is the design of the house. The idea so far is to keep only the foundation and build 2 levels... Patricia and I have a lot of ideas but are they all good? Should we talk to architects?
We talked to a few architects in town. Some didn't look too easy to work with (like our meeting with Carol Wilson Architect, where I didn't feel the "love"...). At the end, we decided to start working with Christopher Campbell, an architect from Portland, ME. Talented, easy to talk. We felt he could understand our lifestyle and the timing of our project. His ideas were meeting ours...
